Hello Alabama Region
of Phi Theta Kappa,

I hope everyone is getting back adjusted to their everyday lives by now. I felt like I had left my brain in Seattle for a couple days after I had returned. A few of us were talking out there and we thought that International was like the spring break for smart people. This was my first International Convention and I can already tell you that I am looking forward to next year’s convention in Nashville. If you had half the fun I did then you know how great this was. The speakers were phenomenal, the dinner was great, and of course the people we met were unforgettable.

I would first like to give huge congratulations to all of our international winners! Alabama came on strong this year. That is a trend I would love to keep. Having winners in fourteen different categories with multiple awards in some chapters shows how dedicated our Alabama region really is. There was a lot of hard work done out there and Phi Theta Kappa members, officers, and advisors should all be proud of themselves. Keep up the great work everyone, and let's dominate again next year.

The next thing I wanted to go over was the Alabama Region website, www.alptk.com . After a fresh face lift it is just about ready for business. I know that officer elections are coming up soon, and I would like to make sure that everything is up to date on it. I would like to make sure that the advisors and officer’s names and emails are correct and if they are not feel free to shoot me an e-mail and I will make sure it gets to the right hands so that we can get that done.

Well that about sums everything up for the moment. If there is anything I have missed please let me know so I can address it. Thank you to everyone who came to International, and to those who did not get the opportunity to come to this one I hope you will be able to next year. I can already tell this is going to be a great year. I look forward to getting more acquainted with everyone. Till next time, be safe and be smart.
